informal rush?

I’m considering transferring here as a sophomore and want to know if sororities have informal rush in the fall 2019since I’m a year older and trying to make friends right away since I won’t know anyone?

I would wait and do formal recruitment. Usually not a lot of sororities participate in informal. You will meet so many people through orientation and your RCC don't worry about recruitment until the spring.
