Greek life is drastically different than it was 10 years ago. Its still very beneficial to join but only if you know the groups available and how you can benefit.

Girls:

First ill do sororities because it is easier. Any group you join here is beneficial and good to join as a girl. There is only one group with any small amount of trouble recently and i will not name them. Everyone mixes with fraternities. Everyone has good events and socials. Everyone has a good time. PM and DPhiE are VERY SLIGHTLY preferred... But thats only because they've been here since the 70's or something, like OX and SN.

Guys:

There isn't anyone here that is as wild as it used to be but there are fun groups. OX SN SAE DX KA DSP ATO and probably the others and KS when they get back, all have events and really are indistinguishable socially.

You get a group of BROTHERS... That is life long, and a lot of help with grades.
