diversity
by: PnmIs it just me or are all the sororities “on top” all white? I mean just looking through social media I’ve seen nothing but mostly white girls (DPhiE seems to be nothing but white). Just kind of worried about diversity. Is that a thing here at KSU Greek Life?

Honestly my sorority is considered to be one of the “top 4” and we have a few diverse girls. The reason it’s so few isn’t because we don’t want girls with diversity... It’s because a lot of the time girls that aren’t white don’t go through recruitment. Please go through recruitment. On Instagram my sorority did not look diverse at all (Ik not Dphie so I can’t speak on that) but going through recruitment I actually talked to several girls, one of them being the same race as me and we talked about it and really connected.

Hey, also in a top sorority here! I was worried about the same thing because I'm Latina. Most of the girls are white, yeah. But it seriously doesn't matter at all what your race is for any sororities (im not a dphie either so idk about them) just be aware that during recruitment they'll probably try to match you with someone who is your race (not sure how i felt about it). in aopi, phi mu, zeta, and gphi I was matched with a non-white or Hispanic person. i think they do it so you can see yourself fitting in more, but it can be annoying.
