how important is rush week?

Even if I don't know the brothers that well prior to rush week will I still be able to get a bid? Or do many fraternities already have an idea of their freshmen rush class before second semester?

Everything is decided on rush week. Just make sure you go out of your way to make sure brothers know who you are by the end of the week.
