probation tiers

It's confidential information which chapter is on what tier and you won't find out until after you join a chapter. Each tier has strict guidelines as to what you can and can't do ranging from no socials, barn dance, formals and if you get to tier 4, you meet with the judicial board and have the possibility of getting kicked off campus. It's all based on the arrest and citation rate of the chapter versus the all women average of the university.

if you know girls in sororities and are friends with them on facebook, an easy way to find out is to see if they have pictures from two dressy events per semester (that's what I'm pretty sure they're allowed to have besides regular socials). You should be able to tell by the album name or captions if theyre sorority events. If they have pictures from all of those then they are likely not on a tier or at least they werent last semester.

What you can do is at sisterhood rounds tomorrow and Saturday, ask the chapters of they are. A more discreet way of asking is asking what events they have planned for the semester.
