alpha phi is definitely clear cut the #1 sorority on campus. idk why kappa is even considered a top sorority, the girls are only cute at best and overall, kappa just isn't involved enough

The reason is that A Phi recruits girls for looks and social media. Most girls would rather be valued for their intellect, their personalities, their involvement and interests, their hard work, their kindness, etc. ALONG WITH being pretty and connected. A Phis are too one-dimensional, on the surface, skin-deep, and boring for most girls.

Alpha Phi's national has mandated that their chapters recruit in a way to take as many looks girls as possible. Then they are required to post on all social media (even gr) so the can comment on how pretty they are. This has been talked about for years and is easily available on the internet.

Most Iowans would rather recruit girls that they like and respect. Everyone wants girls who are put together looking and have personalities, academics, connections, and activities.
