Actually, their philanthropy event was cancelled because of one student who didn't agree with the way the event was marketed. So kudos to that one student who caused CASA children to lose out on very beneficial proceeds this event would have raised!

Shame on the person who complained without understanding the meaning of the words she threw around when attacking the sorority.

As a QU student, and someone who knows quite a few members of Kappa Alpha Theta at QU, I was very impressed with the way they handled the situation. I could tell it was never their intent to be "culturally insensitive" with their event. The school has to approve of the flyers before they're hung up around campus and the school DID approve it. Therefore, the school didn't even pick up that the flyer was culturally insensitive.. The sorority members are not at fault. Regardless, the way they handled this situation was with complete class. They canceled the event and apologized. I don't know what else you could ask for... It is a shame that an event that raises a good amount of money for a philanthropy was cancelled.

most genuine, down to earth girls that i know. so friendly, and they're all beautiful inside and out. if you wanna go out for a sorority, the only way to go is theta. their sisterhood is so strong, and their new president is making their organization soar up through the skies. these girls are the funnest, and SMARTEST on campus. no other sorority can do what these girls can.

Yes the girls might be a little too crazy and party often but most are very hot, all are very kind and most importantly ALL THETAS LOVE BEING THETAS.

Theta girls are some of the most fun and genuine people I have ever met. I've become close with two of them through class and I now plan on rushing next fall. Idk why people are bashing them on here, they are really sweet from what I've experienced. They are pretty but not self absorbed!
