SigEp nationals is deadly serious about shutting this chapter down, and re-colonizing under their rules. They could care less about this chapter's so-called top tier status. They just resigned from national IFC because other frats were too soft on drinking.

Best case scenario for SigEp is they go through a membership review, miss out on spring rush and have to live with a lot more alumni/school oversight. Worst case scenario their charter is gone and they’re done at UO. Not looking good for them

alumni and national staff are on site and interview each member and pledge. Based on interview, GPA, financial standing (who owes), attendance/participation, they will either expel, suspend or keep members. Usually 50% of the chapter will be bounced or simply drop cuz their friends are booted. Alumni will control the remaining chapter until they can make better decisions, etc. Its happened here before (DTD, DG, etc). If they can keep enough people they will close the chapter (Theta Chi, Beta, etc)

SigEp Nationals doesn’t care at all about the issues they created with unrealistic rules because they aren’t responsible for them. All that nationals has ever cared about is removing any liability from them so they can continue to pull in as much money as possible. All they have done is taken our money and given us the middle finger.
