how are new houses treated on campus?
by: DuckI missed the recruitment deadline when I applied for school here. I'm really excited to have excepted a bid to delta zeta tho!! I'm kind worried about being in a new house. Obviously they don't have a rep yet or a lot of followers and I don't rlly care about that. But how r new houses treated here? Hoping the girls aren't outcased cuz they're new. Plz lmk I know nothing about Greek life !!

I just rushed in the fall and joined a chapter here at UO, so I can't speak for everyone on campus, but at least from my perspective and all of the other girls in my chapter, we are super excited to have DZ on campus! I personally loved DZ's philanthropy when I got to visit and I'm really happy they are here. If anyone looks down on you then they're just insecure, I think it's awesome that you all get to be founding members so embrace that!! PHC love and wishing you the best of luck in your first few years here.

I'm coming from out of state next year (If I get in which I really hope I will). My sister and a lot of my friends back here in the midwest are Delta Zetas. They are really strong in the midwest. I would love to join the same sorority as my friends and sister, but I don't really see much about Delta Zeta at University of Oregon yet. I'm fine with joining a new sorority, but I do want to be able to go to parties and stuff. Do fraternities invite women from new sororities to their events?

How are they doing so far? I know they are strong here in the south, but I've heard they are sort of up and down out west.
