rushing with a low gpa

im a senior in high school and all through high school i've taken very difficult honors and AP courses and struggled through depression and anxiety this past year and ended up with a 2.99 after struggling through all of that. I was wondering 1) can i still get a bid from a house 2) if my entire gpa from high school will count including all of senior year 3) how do houses get to know our gpa? Thank you!!

Lol I don't know see why not. Your gpa is about the average for fraternities, which is now below the uni average. In GENERAL I don't know why flats pretend to care about grades

Frat and Sorority GPAs are above average for the school as a whole. And, for you will be a grade risk for many sorrorities with that GPA.

Here's the problem with lying. My friend lied about her GPA through rush and got a bid from chi o. Chi o cares about grades a lot so when they found out she lied they were pissed and hounded her to get her grades up and eventually put her on social probation, and she eventually dropped. I wouldn't bother lying

Do the houses actually get our transcripts during rush? Or are they just going off of what we write down?

Is it better to rush as a sophomore w/ a really low GPA or junior w/ a really high one? Not sure what to do.

For my house we will not take a low GPA no matter the grade so you're better off with rushing as a junior. Either way chances of you making it into a house are slim unless you're a perfect human being in person
