Kappa Sigma - ΚΣ Fraternity Ratings at ODU

Theta Chi and Fiji could get kicked off of campus and Kappa Sig would still find themselves in the lower middle tier with 80+ people who think that joining a frat takes away their v cards and weird social behavior towards women

Basically bully any brother that isn't a stereotypical frat guy who wants to date-rape girls and only judge them for their looks.

They auto bid so they have SOOO many brothers and no brotherhood, more like a fraternity of sub cliques. Very disorganized even with 90 brothers only like 20 stand out. Also they love to tell you how “top tier” they are every chance they get. I think it’s hard to be top tier with a 2.57 and yalls parties are sausage fests. Watered down pikes with even less minority’s... yikes

This fraternity of brotherhood does a lot for the community and support the Navy Seal Foundation by having their 3rd annual Kappa Sigma Car show benefitting the Navy SEAL Foundation.

This org spams Greek rank, group chats, social media, tries to sneak diss everybody to make it look like they're top tier. How do you have more active members than any sorority on campus (who were all apparently "high school athletes") and still lose to another fraternities C Team in flag football? They try to start fights but get chased out of parties, don't compete in sports, grades are bad, mediocre social life.. what's even the point of joining? Raising money for charity isn't that impressive when compared next to all this. Get it TF together

The most inflated fraternity at ODU. If they had between 35-50 members they would be a solid medium sized organization, and their community service/philanthropy would mean more. They've adopted PIKEs sustenance model which depends on mass bidding and mass initiations which has brought them problems. They not only have more members than all fraternities, but sororities too which makes room for cliques, a lack of a chapter identity, awkward presence at events, and a declining social reputation. Kappa Sig's GPA has been repeatedly towards the bottom of greek life, socially they depend on more reputable organizations, and the only time they win in IM is if other organizations are banned. They excel at philanthropy and fundraising, but when you have 83 brothers and 24 pledges its not hard to raise 1,000 dollars. It would make sense for them to ease up on recruiting and focus on chapter development since only 15-20 members of their entire organization have good reputations. The PIKE model gives PIKE issues because it is unsustainable but they make it work because they have 23 years of uninterrupted development on campus.

They have become much better every year, and this might be the year where they stop. They started at the very bottom, and recently they have moved to the middle tier. But they are making mistakes. A few fraternities have made their way into the top tier by not being arrogant and not taking crap from people while focusing on grades, recruitment, and sports. Kappa Sig has lost focus on all of these things and they assume because the top tier invites them to parties that they've "made it". Well.. y'all are from where you think you are. Right now you are like an inflated Sigma Pi

You guys are making good progress and all but stay honest with yourselves. So far you have had one solid tailgate and it was joint with Theta Chi and Pike. That is less impressive than Phi Delt taking responsibility for the success of joint events with Theta Chi. They threw it- you guys were numbers and financial support BEHIND pike. A few years back i went to a fiji tailgate that was only fiji + 300 people where they got fined and charged by the city of Norfolk for fire violations. After events like that and years of solid recruitment, social, and awards they are still CLEARLY behind pike and way below theta chi. About half of your brotherhood is very goofy and gets embarrassed when they try to play tough, 1/4 of your chapter are book worms and 1/4 of your chapter is good socially. Don't get arrogant just yet.
