not even an actual fraternity since they don't have a pledge semester and they become actives ("actives") almost immediately due to their "balanced man" or whatever their terrible system is called. they will also give bids to anybody, and i mean anybody; they just want quantity over quality

Maybe they don't believe in hazing new members and degrading/humilating them to become an active just a thought

I agree with the first comment. It doesn't really count when you give them a bid and they're automatically in. You don't have to haze them but you can at least have them get to know the Sig Ep values and the Greek Alphabet for christ's sake! They won't understand anything about brotherhood if they're just handed the ability to be in the best fraternity on campus.

Sig Ep puts up a great front.....then once you see the behind the scenes their true colors come out. They're known as a 2 year fraternity and then everyone moves on. That is still the situation. If you want a lifelong fraternity experience... go somewhere else.
