Alpha Omicron Pi Sorority Ratings at OU

I dont know what to put here but I want to rank every sorority. !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

pros: diverse, goes against the stereotype of sororities. cons: poor recruitment i felt like an outcast anytime i did any recruitment event with them. no talking to me or asking me questions. if you’re trying to recruit people maybe acknowledge them idk

Now this sorority is not bad but definitely not for me. I was disappointed from the start on bid day. Didn’t get the sorority I wanted and the celebration at the house did not make me any happier, seeing all the other girls get this big celebration and us only get soda and chips? It made me feel horrible. And the way everyone was talking during the rush process just made me feel even worse when I got to bid day. I did not enjoy my time, socials were lame and girls are nice but just not my kind of people. If you’re looking for a more chill sorority this is the place for you!

Pros: possibly most diverse sorority on campus, recruitment was much better for them this year, very friendly girls and seem inclusive. These girls love to party but don’t label official socials often. Huge house. Cons: never hear much about them. Not super social with frats (officially), smaller chapter, not very memorable. Social media needs a lot of work.

Literally didn’t know they were a thing until I met 2 of them and they were every mean girls. U don’t have to be good looking sorority to have rude girls.

Figured out the person pretending to be in our chapter and writing bad posts are Gamma Phis. They’ll write a great post on their page and then the time shows they write bad posts on the other sororities pages five minutes later. Way to bring down women. Good luck during recruitment 👍🏻

joined this sorority and then dropped so quick due to lack of sisterhood. i would get made fun of for having a boyfriend or even go to the bars. bye.

Pros: Pretty diverse group of women. Lots of leaders in diff campus orgs. More involved in philanthropy this semester, which was great to see. Super nice house, literally huge. Members seem dedicated. Some of the nicest and most funny ppl on campus. Good retention. Everybody knows everybody, seem close. Cons: small chapter size. Poor recruitment numbers, hoping to see them improve. Don’t hear a lot about them but sometimes no news is good news. Not super active on the social scene, at least with frats.

Probably the worst sorority on campus. Sororities are supposed to be a group of girls who actually care about being in one. Literally take one look around at every other sorority. they are the only ones that look different. even delta zeta is getting their image up. y’all are known for girls who can barley make up a conversation to pmns. it seriously is a big issue. every girl i rushed with / was in my group all had issues speaking a NORMAL conversation with your ladies. aopi, please step up your game and get some actual good/pretty/hot/outgoin g girls. good luck in recruitment season when no girls want to rush ur house 💓
