this is an amazing greek system - let's expand

We really have a good thing going with our Greek System at NYU. Most of us feel like it is bursting at the seams and ready to expand to get even bigger and better. For fraternities I think we should add : Theta Xi and Sigma Nu
For sororities I think we should add: Alpha Omicron Pi (AOPi), Delta Zeta (DZ), and Chi Omega (Chi-O). Any thoughts?

Also, we need to support each other on this website. The website is not going away, so let's be nice.

Yeah, the nationals weren't for expansion because the other sorority chapters still had smaller pledge classes and they felt that it wasn't fair to them to open a big national chapter when they're still struggling to fill up existing chapter pledge classes

yes, of course that's fine for some people, but those are the reasons that some of the nationals didn't go for it. not saying that i agree, but the fact is the nationals (again, this is their opinion, not mine) felt that it wasn't fair to open up to a new chapter when there are still sororities with smaller pledge classes. they see those sororities as struggling to fill their ranks. tphib is a good example.

anyone who participates in spring recruitment is not at total as a rule. so last year it was kkg, ast, tphib, and aphiz.

so we'll see how it is this year. some sororities are at total after fall, but then girls drop, so they have a few spots open for spring.

I think the posters want to add AOPi and DZ to NYU.

I would like to add those two or tri Delta

Also would like to ad Theta Xi for fraternities.
