off or on campus?

pros of being off campus:
-no nyu sanctions, don't have to worry about getting in trouble for things
-can be a closer brotherhood because the rush process is more secretive/selective
cons of being off campus:
-can't participate in greek week, nydm, and other campus events
-some sororities can't do official mixers with you
-hazing can sometimes be more intense (not always) because there's no danger of suspension
-for fiji, you can't wear letters

Agree! I’d also add that a con of off-campus is that you’re not actually really joining the fraternity because the National org doesn’t recognize the chapter (with the exception of aepi)
