Don’t let the self ranks and bad ranks on other chapters effect your decision.
9 times out of 10, those ranks have ill intent behind them. The truth about recruitment is that you can write down every stereotype (I did the same thing), but your mind will change the second you talk to the real women in the house. You will know exactly who you vibe with and who maybe doesn’t give the same energy as you. That’s the whole point, and it’s so much more exciting when you say screw the stereotypes and be as authentic as possible.
These rankings make MSU’s fraternity and sorority life seem so competitive and bitter, when in actuality we all respect each other. You will find your home. It doesn’t have to be a “top” house to feel like home.
