The nasty comments are probably from Alpha Phi or Theta, you know, girls who are not shy about telling everyone about just how awesome they are. FYI Kappas are awesome. I'm not one, but have dear Kappa friends and their sisterhood is genuine and they don't have a superiority complex. Oh, and one of the most beautiful girls at Miami is a Kappa, she's a model, but she doesn't tell people. She's hot, but doesn't wear makeup or tell people she is hot and that she gets paid for her looks. She is what I was raised to call "humble", and where I come from, modesty is an attribute. But you know.... they aren't "hot", so yeah. Solid, solid crew!

Because Alpha Phi and Theta compete for same girls, and if you don't get into one of those you usually go to Kappa. Theta and Alpha Phi don't compete for Pi Phi's or DG's, can't believe you even think that. Pi Phi and DG compete for same girls, and if you don't get into one of those you usually go DZ or AXO. Theta and Alpha Phi are very, very different girls than Pi Phi and DG and there is little to no competition for the same girls.

Yeah I definitely see what you're saying and I agree to an extent, however a lot of girls go Into rush with a top tier mentality and therefore will put down whatever sororities they think are best. Most the girls I know in top sororities had a mixture of other top sororities in their pref, including a ton of girls had both theta and PiPhi which are on 2 complete opposite sides of the spectrum. Nothing alike.
