Agree with what was said already I. Being a legacy doesn't guarantee a bid BUT kappas a great sorority, sweet, fun, well respected and I think one of the closest sisterhoods if not the closest

I'm not a Kappa, wish I was, as many of my friends are. I'm in one of the "top" (LOL sororities) and I question my decision every day. Just finished freshman year and already tired of how mean everyone is. Didn't entirely fit in with kappas, but knew I was welcome all along if I chose. I think I chose wrong. Kappas genuinely kind and supportive of one another. Not fake, and not mean to each other, or anyone else. If you second considering them, try and get to really know them, adorable girls, and very nice. Know this will be ripped to shreds and I'll be accused of being a kappa, but I'm not, just wish I was...

personally I love kappas. I have a lot of friends in it and they're overall a great group with little drama, not really anything negative to say about them. keep your mind open though, each sorority has something great to offer.

great girls, but you don't need to go into rush with preconceived notions. you'll hear it a million times but you just need to keep an open mind with everyone. it's better to join a sorority that you truly love than to choose one you'll be miserable in purely because of legacy.
