pnm advice

by: important

Miami makes it so each pledge class has to be a certain percentage of how many girls go through recruitment. That being said, the pledge classes end up being 60+ girls. If you are a PNM and expect to be BEST FRIENDS with every girl in your sorority (which is about 250 girls) you're in for a rude awakening. Every sorority has cliques and different groups which also is caused by the fact that you have to pick your junior year house freshman year. That immediately separates girls into groups of 8-10 girls. Before you go bashing a sorority because you hear they have cliques maybe think this over....

I'm in a middle tier sorority on campus and I can confidently say I am good friends with all 60ish girls in my pledge class, and very social with girls in the other pledge classes. Not EVERY sorority is clique-y. Maybe that's your experience with Greek life, but it hasn't been mine. I love all my sisters.

This may be true for the "top tiers" but not all sororities are cliquey
