GPA and how low can it be
by: One lastserious questionWhat is the lowest gpa that the top sororities take? Like I have a 2.9 but it’s a high 2.9 almost a 3.

Im so sorry. Really. This is such an easy way for the sororities to release girls first round. It’s very black-and-white. There are girls with much higher GPAs. And this is Miami so pretty much every girl is really good looking so you can’t count on looks if you have a low GPA. The top chapters won’t take risks. And a 2.9 is just really below their averages. You will probably still have some of the mid and lower tier chapters that don’t make as heavy cuts right away, so sell yourself to them!

I feel bad if I’m breaking your heart but there are so many girls with 3.2, 3.3, 3.4, 3.5… you get what I’m saying. It’s an easy way to draw the line and narrow the pool.
You might not want to hear this but go through recruitment. Go to pref. If you don’t feel good about who you have left, you can still drop. If you have a bunch of friends that all wind up in one or two just stick with them after rush, make new friends with their sisters, and try to get an informal bid. Chapters like Axo, dz, Zeta and kappa all have seniors that go inactive or graduate early and there might be extra bids after bid day due to this that will extend to girls that will “fit in”. It’s not really made public, but there always are a few. It might be a few weeks later when they know how many open bids they have…
