Delta Sigma Theta's community service, social, and philanthropic projects revolve around the “Five-Point Thrust.” The five points include: economic development, educational development, international awareness and involvement, physical and mental health, and political awareness and involvement.

Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated is a private, not-for-profit organization whose purpose is to provide assistance and support through established programs in local communities throughout the world. The organization is a sisterhood of predominantly Black, college educated women. Since its founding more than 300,000 women have joined the organization. The Sorority has over 900 collegiate and alumnae chapters located in the United States, the Arabian Gulf, Bahamas, Bermuda, Canada, Germany, Jamaica, Japan, the Republic of Korea, and the Virgin Islands.

This is the classic geek sorority. If you are smart and uncertain if Greek life is for you, look no further. They are nice and hang out together. Overall, not a notable presence around campus.

I felt very uncomfortable all rush week at this house. The girls seem really nice but so awkward. I couldn't keep a conversation going. They are barely involved they do like two events all year. They don't have many members and their house is away from all the others.

Not a Panhellenic Chapter, which is why people are not familiar with them. They are part of NPHC and are involved on campus, just not at the capacity of the huge Panhellenic sororities.
