Phi Delta, Lambda, DX, Sig Pi, and Phi Tau are all decent fraternities to join. You'll still probably have a good time being a brother, but won't be at functions with the top tier sororities or have the same alumni support. AGR is selective to a specific guy, so unless you know you're going AGR before rush, don't worry about it. Beta is above mid tier but are still a joke, so sucks for Beta.

just because you've been around for a long time does mean you have a strong alumni network. Chi Psi has been here for 45 years but is still a garbage dump. KA, SX and KS have the super strong alumni groups and benefit massively for it. that being said.

AGR - 1970 as local
Lambda - 1991
DX - 1990
Pi - 1995
Phi Tau - 1995

they are upper bottom tier or lower middle. More on par with the lower tier frats - Alpha Sig and Delt though than AGR, Lambda or Phi Delt.

I'm not too offended including phi tau at the end of the mid tier list. It's either that or top of the lower tier list so it'll really come down to personal preference.

All of those fraternities have been on campus 30 plus years, maybe with the exception of phi tau. How can you comment on alumni if you aren't in that organization? Also are you at the door of every sorority function checking which fraternity each guy is in? You my friend are not the brightest.
