Sorority Ranks by Vibe

ALL of the houses here have something to offer, but the ones that MOST PNMs tend to want are (in alphabetical order) ADPi, AXO, XO, DDD, KD, KKG, ZTA.
Within those top 7, there are two very different vibes and most PNMs tend to prefer one or the other:
GROUP ONE
ADPi, DDD, and KD: These primarily take and appeal to in state girls. They all have a mix of girls, but the overall vibe is more traditional Deep South, conservative, and religious. They are more likely to recruit friend groups from local (SC) high schools. Within these three, most people would say the rank is ADPi, then DDD, then KD.
GROUP 2
AXO, XO, KKG, and ZTA: These chapters are known to take more Northern/Out of state girls than Group One. Their overall vibe and reputation is fun, social, partiers. Within this group, most people would say the rank is ZTA/KKG, then AXO, then XO.
The top/mid/lower tiers within these two groups are pretty much equivalent, just very different vibes, and most PNMs prefer one of these tracks over the other. Both groups have a mix of girls, but the OVERALL vibe and reputation are pretty consistent.
The other sororities tend to kind of split the middle as they get a mix of girls who didn't find their home in any of those 7.

Group 1 - known as sweet, mostly southern, bible study, pageant girls, conservative, lots of old SC family money, several know each other from South Carolina high schools.
Group 2- known as fun, chill, athletic and artsy, hang out with everyone regardless of Greek affiliation. Mix of bible study, music festival types and down town partiers, from every state as well as SC.
Both groups are smart, involved and have great sisterhoods. All that being said, go where you feel most comfortable, authentic and at home.

imo southern sororities at clemson discriminating based on geographical origin are breaking their own by laws and PNMS need to reach out to national chapters way before rush to report. 44% of clemson students are OOS. local advisors have made excuses and deny it but the stats don’t lie. at least 4 houses. this will continue until they get called out.

PNMS do have the right to be treated fairly.
Chapters are not permitted to do the following:
Preferring members from specific high schools, or regions (as in southern).
Favoring in-state over out-of-state.
Some are under the false assumption that governing rules do not exist in 2025.
