Off Campus Fraternities are Sigma Chi, Pike, Phi Tau, Sigma Pi, SAE and Sig Ep. Despite what they will say it is not in your best interest to join these. Especially if they are not backed by nationals. If they are not backed by nationals you yourself can be sued for any wrong doing on thier behalf. SAE and Sig EP are probably not actively recruiting anyways.

See that thought process has always confused me. By that reasoning you're saying the only validation of being in a fraternity is if you're recognized by nationals. But for me, in real life, idgf about national reconigition but about the friendships/fun times I made from it.

Who is gonna help you in life after college? A brother or Nationals? Use your head - Nationals are a piece of stationery with a logo. Brothers are friends and support for life.

Dude if you think listing a fraternity name on your resume is going to get you a job you'd best start looking for a Daddy with some money.

Well if you don't have a charter you won't be recognized by the national fraternity so it'll be like you never were part of a fraternity.
