how welcoming are sororities to transfer students?

I just transferred to chapman and was thinking of rushing to make friends since I don't really know anyone. I was wondering if sororities were less keen on taking older girls as opposed to freshman? I mean I am 21, should I even rush, or is that too old?

some are, some aren't. i know a couple chapters are totally open to transfers, mine included.
