sorority houses

Why does this university have no houses for sororities ? They have fraternity houses. Cal State Long Beach and Cal State Northridge have sorority houses. It’s strange. this school only has like two Panhellenic sororities on campus . Any idea why they don’t expand Greek life here?

It would be great to have sorority houses, but we don't. In some ways, it's better not to. The houses are really expensive, and not having a house forces us to get out into the community more. Both sororities here area really awesome, so whichever one you join, you will meet lots of friends.

csula doesn't have sorority houses because the city of alhambra has an outdated "brothel law" where only a certain amount of girls can live under one house
