what are the real sorority rankings here?

Honestly, each house has something to offer. Most of these posts are just created out of jealousy or are self rankings.. kinda lame.

These rankings are so subjective. There is "everything" in every sorority just like in life. No one group is identical and the superficial rankings on looks, or who likes to party (which face it ladies, IS what the guys are judging you on) is just so very shallow. I'm not in a sorority and would never consider joining one. Good thing only 16% of student body participate in this beauty/party contest. I would guess most the posts on here are from girls trying to put their sorority in top tier position or boys ranking by looks/fun party girls. Still in "high school."

FOR THE MOST PART, these rankings are pretty accurate (based on looks after Fall 2013 pledge classes), but everyone's opinion is going to be different. For example, a lot of girls will place GPhi at the top of the middle tier or bottom of the top tier, it's all personal opinion. With that being said every house is AWESOME and has something to offer everyone.

@no, I'm not saying that Chi O is anything special. In fact, all I was really saying with that last ranking is that G Phi is dropping fast.

Sigma Kappa (have you seen their pledge class? dropping hard)

The house rankings in a sense don't matter. If you fake your way through rush trying to get into a "top" house and it turns out you're actually not quite the fit then you'll end up dropping. Who would want to pay to participate in a sorority that isn't right for them.
Alpha Phi and AXO are for the more outgoing, fun, party, and etc.
Chi O are a little more shy, sweet, and kind.
Gamma Phi Beta, they're half and half. I've come across girls who I love, and girls who I found rude. All in all their personalities just don't click with mine.
AOII Sweet, competitive, smart, they seem to love one another.
Theta seems like such a safe sorority where you can be whom ever and they will always love you.
Kappa Kappa Gamma is still getting the ropes but are fun girls.
Sigma Kappa's newest pledge class may be their "worst" but the girls are genuine. I see no wrong in that.

All in all the sororities at Cal Poly stand by one another. They believe in greek life being a positive thing for college girls to have. It provides support, emotionally academically, and socially. Rush and join the house that you belong in, not one that you have to always pretend to fit in.
