If Lambda Chi was still here?
by: YuhIf lambda Chi was still on campus where would they rank among fraternities? How good were they when they were still on campus and which girls hung out there?

They would probably be the top fraternity. Almost every person had been to lambda chi and many of the brothers knew people in all of the other big fraternities. They had an amazing location, huge pledge classes, and were extremely social. While they only had a few huge registered parties there was always something going on at that house and it was packed every time.

When lambda was here it was VERY different.
Beta Lambda ATO and SAE were the 4 best groups here, and back then PhiDelt and SNu were much more relevant than they are now. Pike and SX were the other 2 groups that were decent.
Nationals started to crack down on SNu and PDT, Beta was suspended and Lambda started getting into trouble every year. ATO got suspended.
Now Fiji TKE and KS came out of nowhere and had some great houses, which vaulted them over a lot of groups.
OX and PiKapp replaced PhiDelt and SNu as semi relevant groups.
KA was always around.

if you swapped the letters on snu and phi delt's houses, it'd take at least a week and a half for anyone at all to notice

This is accurate, but only if we’re talking around 10 years ago. Lambda was kicked off just 2 years ago

True but they were on probation and in trouble with the school dozens of times, in the 5 years before their suspension. That's what I was referencing for lambda.

For real, when I rushed in 2017 everyone knew them as the fraternity who was always on sopro and couldn’t do anything. I’m sure they were top at some point but not within the past 5+ years

There is a reason they all went lambda chi first and that’s because lambda chi was better than those fraternities. Not by a lot but there was a difference.
