nobody wants to talk about it

Was this year's rush so bad that houses aren't talking about their numbers?

depends on which houses. Plenty of houses still did pretty well and hit the mid to high 20 pledge range. The bottom tier houses were the ones that hurt the most however. This years rush was in fact that bad, half as many people signed up as they did last year

For girls, pledge classes all looked kinda rough this year, even ADPi got some Alpha Gam looking girls. Don't know what happened this year.

Rush was embarrassing this year. The quality of the guys was pretty low. I think we black balled a lot more than we have in the past.

Some of the better houses, like KA, ATO and SAE needed numbers and were pretty much bid factories. Other good ones, like FIJI, BETA, SNU and SX had lower numbers. Weird year for sure.

Hope this doesn't forecast future years.

SAE and ATO have never been bid factories. KA is the only one who needed numbers or risk getting their charter yanked. Everyone else was focused on quality. The houses with lower numbers than usual chose not to bid just anyone, and the ones who got good numbers got quality guys in a good amount because they rushed well. Nobody was a bid factory this year.
