Is it worth it to join a sorority?
by: gmuI have been super back and forth about whether or not joining a sorority is a good fit for me. Are people's experiences with sororities here good? and will it be worth it for me (I mostly just want to meet new friends)

It depends on who you are as a person. It’s great for meeting friends but there is a plethora of nonsense and unnecessary things you have to do. In my opinion you’re better off making friends by either being unaffialiated and attending parties, or by joining orgs with an actual purpose that you are passionate about.

All the girls ik usually tell me it’s been a waste of money for the most part, but that it’s worth it in a sense to make friends. Again, I think you should look at alternatives if you’re in it for friends honestly.
