Pi Beta Phi - ΠΒΦ Sorority Ratings at BU

Great group of girls. Yes they like they like to have fun, but they do tale their studies very seriously as well. Definitley have a stronger sisterhood than most on this campus. No cattiness or bad talking other members ever occurs. They truly care about their philanthropy and one another. Not cliquey, as they all have friends in multiple different houses and even nongreeks. Very fun and nice girls.

My comments are written from a parent's view, based on my own observation as well as comments from my daughter and her sorority friends - added only because we were so unschooled about the sororities at Bradley when she was a Freshman, and it would have been nice to read something with a general insight into a house. Candidly, I don't think ANY house is hugely different from another ... but that's hard to know as a Freshman. Like most measures, as a group these girls are NOT just one element from each category. I have seen my daughter grow enormously in her self confidence - and focus. She now has a better than 3.7 GPA and has grad school in mind, so she can't have spent too much time being a crazy college student. But I know this house is known for partying ... which actually seems to be true of most college students, and I've not been able to discern anything different from any other house. But yes, there is often alcohol before or after a function - and how much to imbibe (or not) is the girl's choice, so be ready for that. Certainly, her friends have been friendly and polite to parents - but not over the top, which seems to be their general reputation. But they do seem to have a lot of social events and they appear to know a lot of people the other Greek houses well - and do things with them ...so, pretty social. And I haven't heard of them being a leader in campus philanthropy - but I know they host several events each year. Bottom line, my daughter has never regretted her choice of Pi Phi and she's a senior now. It has been a great experience for her.

They act superior and mean. Only let in rude, prissy girls who are wasted by 10 every morning. They’ll stab you in the back, don’t trust them. Although I’d rather be in pi pi than gamma phi beta.

Pi Phi is top tier. Kinda like thier national reputation, beautiful, fun, lots of 'quiet old money', don't give a $$$$ what people say or think about them, confident and some snobby, some friendly. All the Pi Phis I have seen at other schools are georgous, blonde and fun. Top tier nationally.

They are social, volunteer a lot and are nice they are friends with so many people in sororitys or not. Very friendly

these girls are not classy.... on their phones the entire time during the Holocaust speaker that came to campus. show some respect. there's more to life than your own little circle.
