they have been moving up every year that i've been at emory and they know it. Recruiting girls brings them together so they do have a strong sisterhood even though they are now one of the biggest sororities on campus (tied with kappa i believe) and it probably comes from how proud they are to be moving up in reputation. They still have a long way to go to get frats to mix with them... it kind of sucks because its probably the only thing holding them back.

Rush this year did not go well for them. Yes, they had the largest pledge class...but only because the accepted every random girl left that no one else wanted. I also heard from a couple upper classmen gamma phi's that the decision had been made to intentionally not invite certain pledges to events because they weren't wanted. Another girl during pref round told me that a girl at gamma phi had told her not to pick them because she wasn't wanted, but would get a bid either way. Catty and mean.
