Housing issue needs to be addressed
by: Stop being lazyWhen will the Greek system actually work together and get some houses on campus. This schools social scene is garbage with mcgees and Kelley’s being the only “on campus” bars.

It should definitely be a talking point that all Greek members should bring up as it would benefit any fraternity/Srat and would definitely increase the membership + even safety as they could be regulated by the school preventing anything potential dangers that happen at social events in them.

Look outside our campus, at other halls of higher education, where for YEARS they've been enjoying the unsafe social atmosphere some greek chapters continue to promote. Regulation by a University DOES NOT ensure good behaviors by young students, nor safety of same.
Housing also doesn't ensure membership growth. Greek chapters would be more expensive to join if they had housing, thereby closing membership to those who couldn't afford it.
And incase you missed it, greek groups have recently become MORE inclusive of particular types of students, including some who would otherwise be unable to afford membership.

They used to have houses which was what sanctuary apartments are today. They also were in talks of buying an entire street of houses but it fell through
