how do you get a snap bid (specifically from a top sorority?)

only if you were right at the border from where they cut for pref. And even then you may not get a snap bid as top sororities rank their snap bids and can put you anywhere. They may have 2 spots for snaps and you could be number 4

It’s completely out of your control. Informal there are steps for, snap bids there’s nothing you can do about it beyond putting your best foot forward at Pref
