Ranks versus reality

Zeta/pi phi - both extremely well liked on campus and highly desired during recruitment Different vibes but equal with awesome girls
Chi o / kappa - chi o has their pledge class picked out years before….. kappa probably the least liked house on campus and keeps falling in the ranks BUT still top because of big cuts night one giving by Panhellenic
Tri delt - they do not have competition with KD or ADPI. League of their own regardless of how this site wants to tear them down.
KD/ADPI/PHI MU/AXO - this will get thumbs down after this past recruitment all of these houses are equal!!!!!! Ask anyone on campus that is not in one of these houses and they will tell you that!
DG/AOPI - lower only because someone has to be. Dg had their best recruitment since being on campus.

only tri delt likes to claim they are in a rank of their own. completely wrong! they are a mid house with the other mid houses.

I think the thing is ddd is a very well known sorority and is tops at lots of other colleges so PNMs think they’re tops here too. They have good retention numbers until PNMs start recruitment and go to first round or second round and the PNMs realize they’re not so great, but retention numbers are all that matters.
Same with Kappa btw. Known name, good everywhere else. Initial thought is to keep them on the schedule but then they’re underwhelmed. But by then there retention rates are set.

I agree that pi phi and zeta are very well liked on campus but I think chi o is and will stay number one and I think kappa is the bottom of top tier. I do think Tri Delt can pull from them next year but also KD had a great recruitment and took some of Tri Delts tops this year.
Chi o should get the most cuts from Panhellenic next year while zeta and pi phi should have more than kappa. From what I heard zeta had their best return numbers ever this past recruitment. Appearances mean something and when most girls in your group get cut from a house it gives them the appearance of being more desirable when in fact there are a lot of kappas in house that get bullied and excluded. I know because I know a couple of girls that are unhappy in that house.

Love all the Pi Phi’s and Zetas I know. I think chi o gets a bad rap out of jealousy. Kappas are the only girls I would care to say something negative about. Just mean, entitled and snobby. I am in a much lower ranked house and it’s the only top house I know I would not have been happy in.

actually, they do compete with kd and adpi (and axo and phi mu). tri delt is not in a rank of their own. thats so funny! you do not go here. it would be extremely rare for a pmn to choose tri delt over a top house. not saying it never happens, but it would be rare.
lots of pmns in my group and on my floor even chose "lower" houses over tri delt this year.
