Ranks versus reality

Zeta/pi phi - both extremely well liked on campus and highly desired during recruitment Different vibes but equal with awesome girls
Chi o / kappa - chi o has their pledge class picked out years before….. kappa probably the least liked house on campus and keeps falling in the ranks BUT still top because of big cuts night one giving by Panhellenic
Tri delt - they do not have competition with KD or ADPI. League of their own regardless of how this site wants to tear them down.
KD/ADPI/PHI MU/AXO - this will get thumbs down after this past recruitment all of these houses are equal!!!!!! Ask anyone on campus that is not in one of these houses and they will tell you that!
DG/AOPI - lower only because someone has to be. Dg had their best recruitment since being on campus.

@Huh? The fact that it says DDD does not compete — first of all they’re not that high and second yes they do have competition

^ I think KD struggles to keep members. Two of the girls on my floor have quit.

^^ every house has lost members this year. it happens every semester. I know of at least 8 "top house" new members who are going home or transferring. having pc's of almost 200 is not good for anyone.

I am what is ranked as a top house and we are losing many new members and pc21's. Some are simply dropping out of college and some are moving to another university. And for some, the cost is just too high.

tri delt is even with adpi and kd. all three are seen on campus by pmns, members of other houses, etc as mid houses. for some reason, someone on this site keeps trying to bump them up to top or tries to say they aren't with adpi and kd - 100% false.
and I'll add that lots of pmns from my pc and pc 22 chose to release tri delt early and did not want to go back to another party there.

Some tri delts are nice, but many are stuck up and rude. I’ve met so many girls in their new PC and I haven’t met one nice girl. They’re only good on paper, but not actually very nice.

I released them bc a girl handed me a note all about how much she loved tridelt and was crying. She was crying telling me how much she hoped I choose them. It just felt weird and cultish tbh. I’m sure some wouldn’t think that was weird but it was very uncomfortable

According to the original poster they are no higher than axo, phi mu, kd ect… so really only aopi and dg may possible be lower ranked than them but still both those two houses could take girls from any houses above them in ranks and DO

they used to be mid, but they've dropped off the last couple years. they are more equal with axo and pm now.

If 2023 recruitment is anything like 2022, AXO will take ADPi's place on the mid house list.

Chi o is top period. Doesn’t mean everyone wants them but they usually get who they want.
Zeta has moved up in the past five years. I think they go for a certain type of girl ( more personality less resume) and therefore doesn’t “take” from other tops but like chi o get who they want.
Pi phi / kappa I would say these two do compete for the same “type of girl” and last year pi phi won and this year kappa did as far as girls they both take to pref.
Tri Delt is a good house but does compete with KD and yes this is going to get a thumbs down but phi mu as well. There are pnm’s that fall in love with phi mu during recruitment ( I was one of them but pledged a different house) even though this website tears them down.
Adpi/axo were extremely equal this recruitment
Aopi/dg this year dg did a little better than aopi at pref I know several gamma chis and have a very active aunt that knows a lot of what goes on behind the scenes. This is factual even if people don’t want to hear it

I agree with everything but the Kappa/Pi Phi comment.
Pi Phis are nice, a little bland, but that’s ok. They are great girls and respected.
Kappas are just not nice. They’re interested in how many followers you have and how much money you come from. They’re kinda just for show IMO. The girls I know that went Pi Phi are totally not Kappa type.

I think the thing is ddd is a very well known sorority and is tops at lots of other colleges so PNMs think they’re tops here too. They have good retention numbers until PNMs start recruitment and go to first round or second round and the PNMs realize they’re not so great, but retention numbers are all that matters.
Same with Kappa btw. Known name, good everywhere else. Initial thought is to keep them on the schedule but then they’re underwhelmed. But by then there retention rates are set.

I gave it a thumbs down and I'm not a kappa. it's because anytime anyone stereotypes a group of 500+ people and says they're not nice or not cute or whatever that is ridiculous. no group of that many is all one way or another. so i gave wps a thumbs down and will do that anytime someone stereotypes on here

I am not a Tri Delt ( facts believe it or not) but when I went through in 2020 they did seem to be higher than KD and ADPI. Maybe things have changed? Idk. I don’t think they deserve the constant bashing they get on here. They do have a huge amount of alumni support ( basing this on the recruitment with paying to cut more girls and their bid day) so that is not a bad thing right? They also have a gorgeous house and smart girls. I think KD may be equal but this year based on what I heard ADPI did not do that well so I don’t think they are on Tri Delts level. Phi mu does pull girls from Tri Delt occasionally as well as from some of the top houses but overall I think Tri Delt does better in recruitment.
