Closed minded girls

I’m a scholarship athlete and was not allowed to go through recruitment. I’ve had it and need to vent. Why do girls in certain sororities feel so entitled and act so stuck up. I’m looking at you Kappa/Chi O especially. I’ve had classes with these girls and tried to strike up conversations with them and they treated me like I had b.o. or something . They literally looked down their noses at me. Why do they think they’re so special just because they have friends that got them into their sorority or they’re so gorgeous that any sorority would want them? I just do not understand this mindset.
