Appearance during recruitment

I’m coming through recruitment this fall from far oos. I don’t have any connections but I’m trying to get recs. I’m wondering how much appearance matters during recruitment. Do they care what you look like or what your instagram is like? How much can your appearance hurt you in this process?? Please be honest

Unfortunately, appearance matters especially if you don’t have connections and legacy. It’s one of the easier ways to make cuts. Like above said, wear modest but trendy clothes and natural but pretty makeup and look well put together and you’ll do okay
