just went through rush

WOW!! I am so glad the "top houses" dropped me. I had the best recruitment every. Yes I got on this site and I wanted to be in the "TOP' but I was released from some after the first rounds I had full invite backs but not to Chio, Kappa or Zeta. I feel in love with several house and thought I could find my home in more then one. As the week went on and the list grew smaller I knew how wrong this site is. I was looking around at the wonderful friends that I have made and we were all going to different but same houses. Most of us didn't have the "Top" but dang if who I was making friends with are not "top" material then I don't want to be "top" I will settle for authentic friendships, sisterhood who will lift me up, girls that want to support their philanthropy. I have friends (yes, we just meet last week) that are in house that were talked bad about on this site or self rankers etc. I just know from what I have experienced life is great and bid day was wonderful.
Just for those that want to know. my 5 were TriDelt, KD, ADPi, PhiMu and AXO. You guys might be surprised on who I went to for Pref but I knew that any of those 5 houses I could find my home in.
Bid day arrived and I knew in my heart all was good. Did I get my first or second choice? didn't matter one bit as I knew that I would find awesome girls to bond with.
It was AWSOME on bid day. Greek Life has been great my bid buddy was so happy to see me that I didn't give a thought to any other sorority. My suite mates are happy and we will see where this year takes us.
