sorority gpa cuts?

will a house automatically cut you if you don’t meet their gpa requirement? I have a 3.43 (I took lots of APs, some brought my gpa down) and scored in the 90th percentile on my ACT. Do I have a decent chance at getting in a “top house”? thanks y’all :)

Grade wise you are fine. Top houses usually have a hard cut at 3.4. Below a 3.4 you’re cut. No difference in a 3.4 and 3.9. It’s literally a box to check unless you are valedictorian or something like that.

There were many 4.0 girls who received harsh cuts. Many. There are bright girls in ALL houses. Truly. Regardless of the comments about lower houses and gpa risks. There may be a few risks- but most have high gpas. And membership selection is at the discretion of the chapters.
