2013 fall rush

by: transfergirl

I'm transferring to UofA in the fall of 2013, I'm going to be a junior by hours and 20 years old. Will I be too old to rush? I've heard most sororities will only give bids to freshman

most only give bids to freshman but i know of 2 girls that will be sophomores next year that are going through rush so it won't be all bad. there are some sororities that gladly give bids to juniors and sophomores.

I rushed here as a sophomore and got a house I really like. It is hard. I got cut down to 4 houses the 1st day, but pretty much got to pick what I wanted from there on out. I had been very involved my freshman year and had a high GPA. I would encourage anyone to rush as a sophomore or junior and stick it till the end. It is hard to watch other girls go into houses that you liked who cut you just because you were a sophomore, but you can put that aside and focus on getting a bid and in the end you should be happy.
