bid day overreactions

I’m seeing a lot of posts tonight from girls claiming there’s a completely new hierarchy to the sorority rankings. I’m here to pretty much clear up what’s true, what’s false, and what people are overreacting on. Every year girls spam this site claiming their sorority climbed 4 spots while another dropped 4 spots, when in reality year by year a sorority can really only move up or down 1-2 spots MAXIMUM. I’m going to provide everybody with the actually sorority ranks as well as where each sorority seems to be trending based off today’s new PCs

As much as I’m sure a lot of houses would hate to hear, Alpha Phi’s “fall” seems to be more talk than reality. Based entirely on the looks of their new PC (yes I know looks aren’t everything... but they do matter and that’s how I’ll be judging the immediate results of the new PCs) Alpha Phi seems to still have a lock on the top spot. It’s not as solid as it once was, but they still have it.

Personally, I believe DZ actually didn’t do too well this year; however, I have faith that they were able to recruit the same type of fun girls that usually keep them at or near the top.

Pi Phi is one of the houses I see getting a lot of hate on this site, but I feel as though they had a very good PC. It’s not entirely made up of the same skinny blondes Pi Phi is used to, and I think it will help them get rid of their mean girl image.

AXO had a very solid PC, but they need to pump the brakes on all the top house talk. At best, their PC was as good as the others above them, but that won’t help them rise the ranks. If AXO doesn’t manage to disappear these next few months (which they probably will do), then we can talk about them rising even more.

Theta’s PC looked a lot more consistent than last year’s PC. There looks to be a lot more “A team” caliber girls than “B team”, and they really do have some of the most beautiful girls in their new PC. While I don’t think this PC will take them back to the top tier, I think it did help them separate further from the houses below them. Talk of their “decline” seems to be made up by houses below them.

Speaking of, DG definitely didn’t have a bad PC, but they don’t seem to have improved much looks wise. They needed a high end PC if they wanted to push up into the upper mid, and they don’t seem to have done that. What sucks more for them, is KKG actually looks like it improved a lot!

KKG killed it this year. That is not an over exaggeration, it is true. They really seem to have bounced back from a couple dormant years, and I think they may be ready (so long as the new PC doesn’t disappear) to leapfrog DG in the rankings. If they recruit this well next year we can talk about them jumping Theta and maybe even one of the top houses, but let’s keep things realistic for now.

ChiO did their usual thing and recruited a lot of cute girls that seem to be really nice and really into each other. A very solid PC overall, but that might not be enough to hold off KD, who look like they just pulled off another good year of recruiting.

Kappa Delta had another good year, and it appears as though they’ll be pushing DG and KKG in the mid-mid tier sometime soon. Looks appear to be improving, and if the new girls are anything like KD’s actives, they’ll be as fun as anybody.
