pledge class size?
by: GreekguyHow big is a typical pledge class size for a fraternity or sorority at ASU? I know a lot of schools in the south stick to a 50 member pc but I was just curious how big PCs are at ASU considering how many houses there are.

Typically around 80.
At the end of pref, pan divides the number of pnms left in recruitment by the number of chapters recruiting, and that is “quota” and essentially equal to how many bids you’re allowed to give out. There’s some nuance here, but the gist is that there are enough spots in every chapter that every pnm can get a bid.

Quota is set by how many PNM’s are left in recruitment after bid day. It is roughly the number of PNM’s left divided by 13 chapters (aephi only participates in rd 1). If you fully participate meaning attending all the preference parties on your list you will get a bid. The only way you wouldn’t is if you SIP’ed (got invited to two preference parties but only put one chapter down on you Bid card) quota will be the same for all chapters. The difference you will see is quota additions.

Wow stop stealing my user name & then lying. There is not a spot for every PNM. Not every girl gets a bid. That would mean pledge classes around 130 girls which is ridiculous.
