Delta Zeta has nicer, more down to earth girls. They also host the biggest philanthropy on campus.

DZ is more fun, Alpha phi is more attractive... I wouldn’t necessarily say DZ has “down to earth” girls, but for the most part they’re all decently nice and they all love to go out. Alpha Phi has a lot of nice girls (despite what people say), but they also have a lot of fake clout chasers. While some people do prefer DZ, Alpha Phi is still a step above them in terms of who the top house is. This time last year DZ was considered the 3rd or 4th best house though, so if Alpha Phi slips up in recruitment (unlikely) DZ could actually take the top spot! Either way both are hands down the top two houses

They aren't the only top chapters and you will find that out very quickly during recruitment. Agree with the post above. As much as people want to say any other house is over A Phi, in recruitment A Phi is number 1 and DZ is NOT number 2 and I suspect that another chapter is in the number 3 spot but I only know where my chapter recruits and its in that number 2 spot and I'm no DZ. I know DZ is trying to make it happen but they aren't even close to recruiting where A Phi is recruiting. DZ is a top Chapter just not the level they are depicting on this site.

Please do not go into recruitment thinking “I want DZ because they are a top house”. The odds of getting into a specific house is like 4%.
You may think DZ is super cool and you have to be a DZ but you may just not like them during recruitment. This happens a lot. Meet all of the houses and give them a fair shot. If you are blinded by the idea of a particular sorority you may not notice how much you would fit in in another sorority.
Also you have to understand sororities really pick you, you have very little say. You basically just decided if you are showing up or not. You may not be the type of girl APhi or DZ is looking for this year but maybe a chapter like Kappa or KD or ADPi or AChiO would love to have you.
Keep an open mind and give every chapter a chance. You would be lucky to be in any of the 13 chapters.

straight up asu is one of the few universities where practically every sorority is well liked. thats why the rankings are bs like no one cares lol. just go where you fit in best and youll be happy. if you go into a house just bc its a top house the odds are you will probably end up unhappy because theres much more to it than the rankings

both houses party a lot, frat guys love them, are very trendy, beautiful, and are for sure the top 2 houses.
alpha phi has perfect girl vibe. A lot of the girls in aphi can be clout chasers but others are really nice. known to have more blondes but all the girls are gorgeous. less involved on campus.
delta zeta seems to have a more baddie vibe. they’re generally pretty nice and chill. i think they have a lot of brunettes but i could be wrong? they hold the biggest philanthropy so they’re very involved on campus.
both are unique in their own ways but can be similar in some aspects.

Honestly DZ isn’t that classy, but some people don’t really care about that. A Phi is less wild and more attractive 👍🏽👍🏽
