pnm looking for real opinions on certain sororities
by: asu 2023Hi there! I will definitely make my own opinion during recruitment but im just curious what people have to say about KKG, chi o and sigma kappa? Im from the Midwest and they’re all ranked mid but it seems like they’re low tier here. again no hate I’ll be making my own opinions, just curious to see the difference on the west coast

If you will make your own opinion it does not matter what I think or anyone else for that matter. All three are solid chapters at ASU and nationally. Honestly you are in college for 4 years but a member of a sorority for life. Go through, keep and open mind and finish the process even if you don’t think the chapters you are left with don’t click. You are not obligated to sign a bid card.

Every single chapter of every single sorority is different. Theta at one school may be the best thing in the world and at the other it may be the worst. DZ at one school may be hipster and artsy and DZ at another could be very southern and girly.
That being said…
ASU Kappa is edgy & they party a lot. They are the fun girls and they don’t necessarily follow all the rules. They are very So. Cal mixed with Jersey.
ASU Chi O has a sweet, hipster, & sporty vibe. They don’t go out a lot but are very active on campus. In my opinion they are very Bay Area.
ASU Sigma Kappa is very kind and goody goody. The girls are nice and they try really hard to be the best at everything. They also seem to have a lot of women I would describe as strong leaders. I think they have a pretty Midwest vibe.

Sigma kappa wishes they were the same as XO. Don’t let these posts fool you. They are bottom tier. Only girls who don’t want ADPi or AHD pref them

id def agree on pi phi and adpi. i havent met an alpha gam at a party yet and theta's i feel rarely go out

To the person who said “there is nothing classy about being bottom tier”. You clearly have no idea what classy means. Classy doesn’t equal popular. Someone who is classy is respectful, put together, kind, & well mannered. So I personally believe bottom tier houses can definitely be classy. Please don’t be unnecessarily rude. I would consider most Pi Phis & Alpha Gams I know to be classy and fun.

idk if i would put DG under classy/sweet and like to party lol. id definitely say pi phi, adpi, aopi, and theta only when they decide to go out when theyre not doing their homework to keep up their top GPA rank

All I would like to add ASU Sigma Kappa & Chi Omega are pretty similar. Girls often will pref both. & you will see girls in both chapters being friends.
