will it look bad going into rush not knowing anyone

I’m coming from far away and don’t know anyone currently in Greek life at asu or really anyone at all. Do they prefer girls w connections

nah they won’t care if you don’t know anyone. Even if you did, name dropping is weird so it’s probably better that you don’t. just be yourself and they’ll determine the rest

Most out of state kids don’t know anyone. You definitely won’t be alone. Just go into recruitment with an open mind and make friends in your rho gam group.

Noooo!!! It doesn't matter at all! Part of rushing is doing so for the chance to make connections with people. Many out of state girls rush, and don't know anyone which is actually good because no one knows you. This allows you to be yourself and let the different chapters really get to know you. Don't stress!!! :)
