legacies
by: helloHi! My grandmother is a legacy but I don’t really see myself in the one she was in... how will this affect my process? Will other sororities drop me because I’m a legacy of another one that’s not them? Or is that not a factor, I have recs for the ones I’m most interested in! Please help.

It won’t matter. If you don’t mention it sororities won’t know anything about your legacy status. Other sororities don’t have access to that information.
However give your grandma’s sorority a chance, you haven’t even started recruitment. They may surprise you. Keep an open mind and a positive attitude

Chapters have no idea that you are a legacy to another group. We don't see that information. How do you know you wont like your legacy group? You haven't even met them yet. Go through with an open mind. You will have a much better experience if you go through with no preconceived opinions especially from this site. 99% of the stuff on here is BS regarding ranks and when someone is threatened and trying to bring a chapter down.
