Someone who is genuinely nice and seems interested in your sorority not just Greek Life. Nothing is better than talking to a PNM who you can tell really wants to be there.
Also beside conversation a letter of recommendation helps you stand out. Also having past leadership positions and really good grades all help.

ngl a lot of sororities dont even read letters of rec. just treat every sorority with respect and go in with an open mind. greek life at ASU u literally cannot go wrong like all sororities besides two are loved and respected here. the ones that are uncared for are truly uncared for because they dont put the effort in for events is all.

Be the best version of yourself. Look put together when you walk in the door. Carry a conversation. Don't give one word answers. Letters of rec are an introduction of you to the chapter. They are read by the recruitment team and for most chapters they get you an invite back to round 2 if you meet the membership requirements. You want to be remembered and remembered in a good way. With 1400 PNM's going through if you meet the membership requirements and are friendly you have a good chance of doing well.

Actually a lot of sororities do care about recs. If you get a good rec you get carried to the second round and if you get a bad rec you will probably get dropped. I know my chapter and all my friends chapters care a lot about recs
