None. Greek Life is stupid and pointless. You spend your 4 years judging people by their looks and spending your money on things you don’t need. It’s all a competition and it’s tiring spending every day trying to be better than other people. We need to have the best philo, the best grades, the best parties, the best events, the best new members, the best clothing, the best decorations, the best hair...

Actually yes it is. It is a very unhealthy way to think. There is a big difference between trying to be the best and doing your personal best. It sets you up for failure when you aim to be the best at everything you do.

ok this reply sounds like it’s from a geed. yeah Greek life here has its flaws but Jesus Christ. why do you even browse this site if you just hate Greek life that much??

Actually yeah I’m in a sorority, I have been in my chapter for the last 3 years. I have even been in leadership positions and a fraternity sweetheart. I’m considering dropping because Greek Life makes me upset. I spend every fall trying to make my Instagram perfect, spend $100s on clothing and makeup, spend hours doing my hair and makeup, then I go sit in a room and listen to a bunch of little freshman talk about themselves and then after the conversation I will give this poor girl a numerical value & then move onto the next. Greek Life is a competition for money and that’s really it.
