honest opinions on sig nu

I always hear how terrible their parties are and how girls call them the “friend zone frat” but are they really that bad?? Some people say they’re rising

It’s not that their that bad but their not that great! They are doing better every semester for being so new, they still have a lot so get better at such as parties and overall some of the guys!

everything about them you hear on this site whether it’s good or bad is probably an exaggeration. they aren’t really rising all that much but i wouldn’t necessarily call them the “friend zone frat” that much

I never actually heard anyone call them the “friend-zone frat” until someone put that on their rating page. they don’t hook up with as many girls as other frats but i would say the “friend-zone frat” a stretch

I mean they spent their entire formal budget buying tacos for sorority girls.... if you have to spend 20g just so girls will talk to you you’re 100% the friend zone frat lol

that is a true statement but you’re looking at it the wrong way. from what i see they did that whole taco tuesday thing to try to get sorority girls to know them better since they are new on campus, rather than plan a formal that would not be well attended. I wouldn’t say that means they’re desperate for attention they just want more people to know who they are!

it’s not that their parties are the worst, it’s just they party the absolute least. spring semesters aren’t as popping as the fall but they only threw one party a month which is kinda sad

As a girl I can honestly say you guys do have the worst parties. They’re small, the music you guys play isn’t the best, and you all kind of just talk to each other the entire time. It looks like a middle school dance, and it doesn’t really look like many people are having fun. After 2 or 3 bad parties girls start losing interest in coming, and unfortunately the 4 you threw all last semester sucked

^ okay whoever wrote this definitely did not go to all their parties. I did not go to all of them either but I did go to their St. Patty’s one and it was a blast! That one got a little wild as it was over max capacity and I’m surprised it did not get rolled. no one that went to that party can say they weren’t having fun!

i think a lot of frats (specifically mid tier ones) hate them because they found a way to improve this year despite not really throwing any bangers. they’ve done so by recruiting well this past school year and simply being friendly guys with a decent brotherhood

They have been rising but the problem is they are really annoying about it. just because they moved from bottom to lower mid this year they swear they’re gonna be upper mid by the next year. throw more than one party a month before you start talking that big guys

sig nu is honestly not bad lol. someone mentioned on this thread that they dont throw bad parties, just not enough, and that is very true. all the guys in this frat are genuinely nice and caring which is why they may get that friend zone rep. they play good music instead of the same edm/rap you hear at every other party but that can be a likeable or unlikeable trait. any who make your own judgement but i am a sorority fan of sig nu
